Advocacy

At Homefront Community Services, we believe in the power of advocacy to drive social change and create a more inclusive society. Our work doesn’t end at providing services; we also strive to influence policies and attitudes that impact people living in Toronto.

Our Advocacy Work

Our advocacy initiatives are centered around

1) Policy Influence

We actively engage with policymakers, urging them to adopt and implement policies that are conducive to the welfare of Torontonians.

2) Public Awareness

We conduct seminars, workshops, and conferences to raise awareness about the several challenges faced within our communities and to promote cultural understanding and empathy.

3) Partnership Building

We collaborate with like-minded organizations, community groups, and individuals to create a united front in advocating for our fellow community members.

4) Research and Evidence

We gather data, carry out research, and present evidence-based arguments to support our advocacy goals
